Nicole Fielding
Studio Director and Owner
Senior Elite, Junior Elite, DT Divas, Jr. Jazz Company Director
Nicole opened Dance Tech Studios in 1995 upon graduation from the University of Utah. She has professionally studied Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Tap and Lyrical from Judy Bassing, Jo Rowan, Karen Hebert, Janice Barringer, and Chris Grogis throughout New York, the East and West Coasts. Her international credits include MTV lead dancer, Brigham Young University "Young Ambassadors", "Cougarettes" and "Star Search" finalist. Her choreography and performances have won, and continue to win, top state-wide and national awards. Many of her students have received numerous National Dance Title Awards and College Dance Scholarships. In addition, she is a national judge for numerous competitions nationwide. Ms. Fielding enjoys her title as "Mom" to 2 sons (Tyler-17, and Cole-14) who compete nationally with Dance Tech's DT Crew Hip Hop company. Ms. Fielding is proud to be the director and choreographer of the National award-winning Senior Elite, Junior Elite, Jazzettes, DT Divas, and Junior Jazz Companies. |

Scott Fielding
Studio Co-Owner
Little Man Jamm Hip Hop/Breakdance Director
Scott is entering his 12th year as Dance Tech's Boys Hip Hop Instructor. He received training in Street Jazz at the Broadway Dance Center in New York and has a collegiate gymnastic background. In addition, he has trained in Hip Hop and Break Dance. He heads up Dance Tech's Little Man Jamm Hip Hop and the Teen Boys Break Dance program. Scott's "other" job is owner of Big Canyon Construction Inc. and he recently designed, constructed and completed Dance Tech's phenomenal 15,000 sq. foot, state-of-the-art dance training facility. |

Jenny Nielson-Wilson
Studio Hip Hop Director / Jazz, Contemporary & Tap Instructor
DT Crew, Funkmastas, Fly Girls, DT Beatz, Underground Crew, Funky Fresh and Tap Company Director
Jenny is the talented director and choreographer of Dance Tech's national award-winning Hip Hop program. Her choreography received the Overall High Point Award for the 2nd year in a row at our Nationals Dance Competition. She was one of Dance Tech's first students (over 17 years ago), and was the 1st recipient of Dance Tech Studios "Dancer of The Year" award. She has trained to professional levels in Hip Hop, Classical Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Contemporary and Modern. She has trained with Wade Robson, Mia Michaels, Dave Scott, Tyce Diorio and many more of the industry's top choreographers and dancers. She has danced in numerous New York Dance Alliance Conventions & Tremaine National Dance Conventions. Jenny was honored to be selected to dance in the 2002 Olympics, as well as in Odyssey Dance Company's production of "Thriller". This is Jenny's 13th year teaching and choreographing at Dance Tech, and since that time has seen her routines receive numerous first place, choreography and specialty awards and has received overall award titles at prestigious National competitions. Jenny is the proud mother of a baby girl, Ella (1) - Dance Tech's newest family member. |

Allie Sherman
Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary Instructor
Allie is returning for her 2nd year as an instructor for Dance Tech. Allie had an amazing 1st year as she took her beginning Hip Hop company to many top overall awards as well as receiving the "Choreography Award". Allie's love and passion for dance is quite evident in her classes. Allie has come from an extensive training background in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Funk, Tap and gymnastics. She has performed in Odyssey Dance Theater's "Thriller", and "High School Musical", the movie. Allie has competed at the National level receiving numerous top overall scores and awards. |

Sara Caruso
Ballet Instructor
This is Ms. Caruso's 2nd year at DTS. Sara is a Utah native. She has studied extensively with the Ballet West Academy, The Royal Ballet School, Applause Dance Theater and the University of Utah's Ballet Department. Sara has also trained in Jazz, Tap and Contemporary. She has performed leading roles in numerous Ballet West performances of the Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Giselle. She had the honor of performing in Tokyo, Japan with the Valentino School of Dance as part of the International Ballet Gala. Sara is currently working on her major at the University of Utah on full academic scholarship in Exercise and Sports Science with a Minor in Nutrition. Sara's education, vast performing and teaching experience is such an asset to Dance Tech and her students.

Mykklyn Stanzione
Contemporary/Jazz Instructor
We are happy to welcome Mykklyn to the Dance Tech family! She has been dancing
for 18 years, and has traveled across the nation studying in various styles
such as Contemporary, Horton, Dunham, African, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Ballroom,
etc. She lived in New York where she attended Alvin Ailey Performing Arts
School on a scholarship for their independent study program, along with
training at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Mykklyn’s
extensive dancing and performing experiences include: F.A.C.E performance (NYC);
Hush tours where she was a member of the Sue Samuels Dance Company through the Ailey
school called "Jazz Roots" (NYC); and Disney, in featured roles in
music videos and film. She has worked with a wide range of the world’s top
dancers and choreographers including Beyonce, Robin Dunn, Yotam Kafri, Mia Michaels, Bonnie Story,
Chris Judd, Jayson Vasquez, Shane Sparks, Sue Samuels and many others.
Mykklyn was a finalist for SYTYCD Season 8, and made it to the last 120 dancers
in Vegas. Mykklyn starting modeling right out of high school and has worked with
Franky Armstrong, Angela Rose Titan, Stephany Highland and many others in
sports/fitness, swimsuit and high fashion photography. Her future plans include finishing her
college degree and continuing to do what she loves most - DANCE! "My-Key" explains, “Dance is the key to unlock myself...” and through the years, dance has helped
to develop her own understanding and philosophy. She hopes to
express and inspire others of all ages with her love and way of life.

Katelyn Olson
Jazz, Contemporary, Tumbling Instructor
This is Katelyn's first year with DTS! Katelyn
has been teaching and choreographing for the past 7 years. She is currently
attending University of Utah with an Early Childhood Education Major. She has
been trained in Minneapolis, MN by some of the nations best
instructors/choreographers including: Michelle Larkin, Molly Larkin, Leslie
Daily, Dee Caspary, Mark Meismer, Dave Carter, Mandy Moore and many more. Her
choreography has won top scores at regional and national competitions. She has
also choreographed and coached for St. Benedicts University in Minnesota.
Katelyn hopes to bring her excitement and love for dancing into the class to
inspire and motivate her students.

Nicole Schoenherr
Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop & Tap Instructor
Nicole has been on the DTS staff for 4 years. Nicole has been dancing for 14 years and teaching for 6 of them. She has studied on professional levels in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Funk, Tap and Tumbling within Utah, the Edge in LA, and the Millennium Dance Complex in Hollywood. Nicole competed at regional and National levels for 10 years. She has won numerous scholarships and placed at top overall levels. Her performance credits include "Ultimate Airwave" on ESPN, Odyssey Dance Theater's "Thriller" and "Joy to the World" and "High School Musical". She received the Sterling Scholar award in dance from Park City High School in 2004. Her choreography continues to receive overall top awards and recognition state wide as well as Nationally. In her spare time, you will most likely find her on the slopes of the Canyons or Park City Resort shredding it!

Amber Tomac Wood
Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Dance Conditioning Instructor
Amber has studied extensively in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Ballet. She grew up taking from some of the top professionals in the dance industry. Attending many national conventions, Amber has received numerous scholarships to both New York and LA. She was a featured dancer in the Olympic Opening Ceremony. Professionally, she has done many shows and performances. In Utah, Amber has performed for the Comedy Circuit, KISN 97, and the Olympic trials, to name a few. But a favorite may have been 'NSYNC's "There's No Stopping Us Now" tour, which she was on in the summer of 1999. Amber is an amazing dancer and students are inspired in her classes. She has been teaching for several years and loves it. Amber tries to give back as much as she can to her students and passes on the passion for dance to any who want it. |

Jenessa Cowley
Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Dance Conditioning Instructor
Jenessa returns to Dance Tech for her 4th year. She grew up in Salt Lake City where she trained extensively in Classical Ballet and Pointe, then added Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Tap. Jenessa frequently trained at National dance conventions/training facilities such as NYCDA, Hollywood Connection, Broadway Dance Center-New York City, and the Edge in LA. Jenessa received numerous scholarships and titles from these conventions. Her choreography is much sought after all over Utah. We are extremely lucky to have Jenessa share her strong technical training and unique choreographic styles with our students. |

Gev Manoukian
Hip Hop/Break Dance Choreographer
Gev is a Hip Hop/Break Dancer originally from Kazakhstan and is best known as one of the top 10 finalists on the TV Show "So You Think You Can Dance - Season 4." Gev was also a featured dancer in the movie "High School Musical 2." He has created several top award-winning solos, duos and group dances for Dance Tech this year. We are fortunate to be able to work with such a talented, unique choreographer. |

Kelly Capone
Public Relations Director
Kelly has been on Dance Tech's staff for 4 years. She has a Bachelors Degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from Penn State University and worked as a systems analyst for DowBrands, Ocean Spray Cranberries, Electronic Data Systems and Air Products. She has a high school background in cheering. Kelly is an amateur photographer and supplies DTS with many of their news releases, slideshow and website photos. She's responsible for Dance Tech's computer operations, spring concert year-end slideshow and Dance Tech's Website. | | |
