DTS RECEIVES TEN HIGH POINT AWARDS AT "DANCE CELEBRATION" COMPETITION!

There was much cause to celebrate on May 2, when Dance Tech Studios attended the "Dance Celebration" dance competition May 1 & 2 at Kearns High School.  In addition to their many 1st place awards, they received the following:

TEAM AWARDS:

Teen /Elite Teen Overall High Point Award:  "Bond" - Hip Hop Company Production

Overall Choreography Award:  "Bond"

Junior Amateur Intermediate Grand Champion High Point Award:  "Take Me Down To The River"  - Jazzettes Company

Intermediate 1st Place High Point Award:  "Creeps" - Jazzettes Company

Intermediate Grand Champion High Point Award:  "Krazy" - DT Crew Company

Teen 2nd Place High Point Award:  "Cannon Ball" - Senior Company

DTS Jazz Production Company Performing "Let Me Think About It"

Dance Tech Studios received the "Stage Performance Trophy" at the Dance America Nationals Competition held at Juan Diego High School April 25, 2009.  This award is given to the studio with the highest average placing in 10 or more events). 

DTS received 1st place awards for all of their dances.  In addition, they received:

Intermediate High Point Award:  "Let Me Think About It" - Jazz Company Production

Best Showmanship Award (Solo):  Jade Chynoweth

DANCE TECH STUDIO WINS BIG AT COMPETITION!

Dance Tech Studios received 22 top 1st place awards, 4 overall choreography
awards and 3 overall high point awards from Utah's 25th Anniversary Studio
Stage Competition.

The competition was held at Kearns High School.

DANCE TECH RECEIVES TOP AWARD AT SPOTLIGHT DANCE COMPETITION!

March 26-28, 2009

Dance Tech Studios attended Spotlight Dance Competition at Viewmont High
School March 26-28, 2009. DTS' Jr. Jazz Company (pictured) won overall Top
1st Diamond and overall choreography award for their "Mercy" dance. Dance
Tech received 6 overall top high point awards, and 11-1st place awards.
Allie Sherman of Park City High School was awarded the Senior Spotlight
Title for her top 1st place award winning solo.
